Terms of Service

Edge ("Edge", "we", "us") is a software platform for self-directed retail investors that helps you track positions across brokers, log trades, and read AI-generated analysis of your portfolio. The service is operated as a sole proprietorship by Marc Vives Sánchez, based in Spain.

By creating an account at edgeplatform.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Edge is a tracking and analysis tool. It helps you see your portfolio, journal your decisions, and read AI commentary on the data you input.

Edge is not a broker, not a financial adviser, and does not execute trades. The content Edge produces — including all output of Edge Intelligence, the Morning Brief, the Weekly Digest, alerts, earnings recaps, and any AI-generated commentary — is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or solicitation of any transaction. You alone are responsible for your investment decisions.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the service (scraping, automated load, reverse engineering), or pose a legal risk to Edge or other users.

Edge offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (currently "Edge Pro" at €17 per month). Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") on our behalf. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the displayed price.

Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from the billing portal accessible at Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then.

Refunds: we offer pro-rated refunds within 14 days of the initial subscription if you have not used Pro-only features extensively. After 14 days, charges for unused portions of a billing period are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.

Price changes: we will notify subscribers at least 30 days before any price change. You may cancel before the new price applies if you do not accept it.

Edge displays market data, news, earnings information, and other content sourced from third-party providers (currently including Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, and Anthropic). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Do not place trades based on an Edge screen without independently verifying the price with your broker.

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or proxy Edge or its data feeds to third parties.
• Scrape the service, run automated load against it, or reverse-engineer it.
• Use Edge for any purpose that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, paid-tier gates, or other technical restrictions.
• Upload data that infringes third-party rights or is unlawful.

Edge and its content (excluding the data you enter and the third-party market data we surface) is owned by us. You may use Edge for your personal investment activity. Nothing here grants you a license to copy, modify, or redistribute the service.

Data you enter (positions, journal notes, watchlist items) remains yours. We use it solely to provide the service to you and to generate the analysis you request.

Edge is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty, express or implied, about the service's fitness for any particular purpose, the accuracy of any data, or the uninterrupted availability of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edge's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including but not limited to trading losses, missed gains, or any decision you made based on content shown in the service.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights and rights you have as a European consumer.

You may stop using Edge at any time by deleting your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, with notice when reasonably possible. On termination, your access ends and we delete your data per the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence say otherwise.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Edge after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
